The Miro String Quartet returns to Buffalo this season for all six concerts of the Slee Beethoven String Quartet Cycle. All concerts are at Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall on the SUNY Buffalo Amherst campus, three in February 2015 and three this weekend – Friday 9/26 and Saturday 9/27 at 7:30pm and Sunday 9/28 at 3:00pm. Miro cellist Joshua Gindele spoke with WNED’s Peter Hall about the group’s origin, their name, how they keep their sound consistent, and offers “if you have any questions, we’ll be at the Anchor Bar or Duff’s” (eating wings) in between concerts.
